Monitoring your Progress

Every day in the UK thousands of people go to health clubs or some kind of exercise class, but how many of them know what they’re getting for their efforts? Are they able to make an informed choice on what to do next to improve their fitness and health?

Our kettlebell training system, PowerBell Pump™, is designed to take participants to the next level of training, not just based on the physical attributes of any given workout, but guided by the feedback they receive and understanding gained from what they are doing and how it’s affecting them.

We feel that it is important that you learn how to monitor your progress and what that progress means. How would you know if you were over-training or giving yourself an under-load? Under-load is when exercise does not train the heart rate high enough to be of any benefit. We feel it is important to monitor your exercise exertion on every class you do, so you can see and feel the improvements as they happen.

We use the latest heart rate technology which monitors you throughout the class so you can see your heart rate on a big screen every minute of our session.

As well as heart rate technology we also use a Perceived Exertion Scale that helps you to rate how hard or easy an individual class is and how much fitter you are becoming as your Perceived Exertion Scale drops with each class you take.
